Elijah Nastu, Senior at Woodland, has been a part of the Drama Club since last spring when he starred as Perch Perkins in The Spongebob Musical.

“I really like the topic Spongebob so I tried it and now I’m actually a pretty good actor which I had no clue about,” said Nastu.

This is Nastu’s first time being an actor. When he transferred to Woodland in 2021, he had no idea what acting was or what it would end up meaning to him

“I ended up actually genuinely enjoying it,” said Nastu.

Nastu is starring as the dentist, Mr. Dussel in The Diary of Anne Frank.

“It’s gonna be nice to show everybody what we have done because it has been three months and we have all been working extremely hard to make the best performance,” said Nastu.

Nastu was very thankful of his decision to join the drama club last year.

“I would say join. Why not? If you don’t like it then you don’t have to stay, but there’s no point in not joining.”
