Student Council to Hold Holiday Card Making Event

In past years, it has been a tradition of the Woodland Regional Student Council to hold an event called Cards for Kids around the holiday season. Members of  the WRSC get together and make holiday cards that are given to children who are in the hospital. This year, instead of the event being just WRSC members the entire student body is now invited to come make cards. The event will be held on both December 18th and 19th after school in Mr. Tomlin’s room, room 231 and the cards made will be donated to St. Mary’s Hospital. “I think inviting everyone to this event is a great idea,” said WRSC Recording Secretary Emma Sardinskas, “its a fun and easy way to give back to those in need during the holiday season”
