For the second year in a row, the Woodland Regional Student Government hosted the Connecticut Association of Student Council’s state-wide convention. The honor of hosting this convention is placed on the school that’s home to the current CASC President, who is senior Yasmeen Galal, also serving as the WRSG’s Study Body Vice President. The convention included workshops, district caucuses, a presentation from keynote speaker Lasada Pippen, and a pannel with the CT Comp Troller, Secretary of State, Treasurer, and Attorney General. Woodland is set to host this convention for a third year after current junior Kaltrina Ameti was elected CASC President for the 2024-25 school year.
