Woodland Spirit Week

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it’s that time of year where all Woodland students come together and show their school pride. Woodland’s Spirit Week begins this Monday, so make sure to bring your school spirit.
Monday, November 20th, will be Futuristic Day. Students may dress up as what they want to be when they are older. This day allows students to show who they really are because this year’s homecoming theme is Masquerade.
Be ready on Tuesday, November 21st- for a war, a war of colors, that is. Each grade is assigned their own color to wear in Color Wars. Freshman will have black, sophomores silver, juniors gold, and seniors red. Make sure to decorate your grade’s hallway as much as possible in your color, but destroying of other hallways will not be tolerated.
The last day of Spirit Week will be on Wednesday, November 22nd, and it will be Black and Gold Day. Students should wear anything black and gold that they can or Woodland apparel. The pep rally will also be on Wednesday, and the winner of Spirit Week will be announced.
Although Spirit Week is very fun, there are still rules that you have to follow. In order for what you are wearing to count towards spirit week, you must go up to a table with Student Government members during your lunch waves for them to tally points. You must have your Student ID with you and be wearing at least three items of clothing in order for your grade to gain points.
Happy Spirit Week, Woodland!
