Spirit Week Plans

At Woodland Regional, during the week of Thanksgiving, there will be a very busy Spirit Week taking place.
Starting on Monday the 23rd, students in every class will be dressing up as people from the future. Expect to see some tacky silver outfits.
On Tuesday, the 24th, the school will be venturing back to the 1900s. The freshman class will don ladies flapper dresses and zoot suits from the 20’s. Sophomores will be clad in peace signs and crazy tide dye designs from the 70’s. All juniors will be in saddle shoes, poodle skirts, and leather jackets for the 50s. The senior class will be in colorful arrays of clothing, including leg warmers and fluffy skirts and tights to represent the 80s.
On the last day of spirit week, Wednesday the 25th, everyone will show off their school colors, black and gold, and head down to the pep rally to cheer on the Hawks. Woodland will be having a canned food drive throughout the rest of the week too.
Even teachers will join in. Jim Amato said that he would be a robot for futuristic dress-up day, only if his advisory would dress-up too. It’s a wonderful way to show off school spirit and have a fantastic time as well.
