On Friday, October 14, Lisa Croce and Jill Blasi escorted Woodland’s own ECE Environmental and Zoology classes to study at the Livingston Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy in Litchfield. There the students were given a tour guide and explored the sanctuary. They were educated on the types of birds that reside there, ways to preserve and maintain the waterfowls,
The Cross Country team had a successful senior night on Wednesday, October 11. The Woodland Girls Basketball team held a great game against Naugatuck on Wednesday, December 14. They held a consistent ten point lead over the team, and finished the game with an impressive 41 to 27. This past Friday the girls also had a massive win against Kennedy which they won with the close victory of 64
The Woodland Football team held a successful game against Kennedy High School on Friday, November 13. Kennedy came off strong with a touchdown within the first few minutes, but the Hawks remained focused and accumulated three touchdowns within the first quarter.
