Sinister Review

The movie Sinister came out October 12, 2012. This movie was a horror movie that had a lot of buildup and in the end, it was all true! The movie was very well-written; it actually had a story line. Aside from that the movie had the viewers on edge the entire time. One element that made the movie scary was in the end credits when a picture of the character appeared and puts the “curse” on all of the viewers.  According to movie websites it the best scary movie they’ve seen in a while! I would recommend anyone looking for a scary movie to go and see Sinister.

In my opinion, Sinister was not that scary a movie. It was good in the fact that it did actually have a storyline (something that seems alien to most modern horror movies), but most of the scares were moderately predictable. The ending did surprise me and throughout the movie there were shockingly gruesome parts that I did not expect. The ending did not place a “curse” on the viewers, though, as far as I could tell when I saw it.
Overall though, it was a good enough movie that I would reccomend others to consider seeing it.

The writer of this review did a rather dreadful job. The repition of “this movie” or “the movie” instead of using the pronoun “it” after the first time made the reading seem to drag on. The sentence “According to movie websites IT the” is missing “is.” JTolnay heeds to proofread this work better and add more details to make it worth the read. If possible can a new review be written with more details and correct grammar? I would like to actually get a feel for a movie from a review, not a half-attempted paragraph.

      Thank you, Mysteryperson509,

Your comment was taken into consideration. Next time maybe you would like to write a review. Please email any suggestions to wrhsmedia@wrhsonline.net. There are several good movies coming out and we welcome the help. BTW, *repetition* is spelled with an “e” so editing works both ways.
