Track Teams Win Dual NVL Titles

WOODLAND AD OFFICE–Congratulations to both Woodlands Boys and Girls Indoor Track team on both teams winning the Naugatuck Valley League Championships last night. It was an amazingly exciting night with several athletes taking a gold medals and earning all league recognition. But congratulations go to the entire teams who worked hard during mid-terms to be ready for yesterday’s championships. Congratulations also to Head Coach Jeff Lownds, Assistant Coach Adam Schultz, Coach Brian Maglione and the newly married Head Coach Tim Shea – married life seems to be very good for him!

Tim Madormo named the Naugatuck Valley League’s “Outstanding Sprinter/Hurdler”

Girls 4×200 Relay: Amber Tolboe, JiYe Park, Steph Dumond and Tayler Boncal

Girls 4×400 Relay: Amber Tolboe, Sydney Corneau, Jazmyn Menzies and Alaina Neddermann

Girls Sprint Medley Relay: Amber Tolboe, Jazmyn Menzies, Alaina Nedderman and Miranda Sanchez-Moffat.
