Girls Soccer: Woodland beats Torrington

On Wednesday September 21st, Woodland’s girls’ soccer game versus Torrington started out fast, with three goals in the first ten minutes.

Torrington scored the first goal during the first minute of the game. Little did they know, it would be their last.

Woodland scored a goal less than a minute later, and another soon after.

One more goal was scored by the Woodland girls in the second half, and the game was over, 4:1 to Woodland. Audra Blewitt, sophomore, and Kelly Boucher, senior, scored some of Woodland’s goals. Keri DeBiase had three good assists.

Sophomore Jackie Magner stated, “It was a good game, we played well.”
