Swimming Faster than Ever to make All NVL

After a hard working season, Woodland Regional High School’s Girls Swim Team won their 2023 NVLS. Each member of the team worked hard to achieve this accomplishment, but one member held her own.

Zoë Bronn, a senior at Woodland Regional High School, has been swimming since she was just eight years old.

“My favorite part of the sport just has to be the community and the amazing friendships I’ve made through it, and getting a personal or team record is always so rewarding,” said Bronn.

She expresses that this season has been one of her favorites and it is evident in her hard work.

Bronn is inspired by her family and friends.

“Their support gives me the drive to push myself to do my best.”

She has found challenges in getting used to the season and the new staff members, but her overall experience has been positive.

“Everyone loves Coach Ray and he’s already helped everyone so much even the seniors that are leaving.”

WRHS Girls Swim and Dive has won NVLS five times so far, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.

“Winning NVLS is such a good feeling.  It’s so exciting knowing that the whole team worked for it and all of our effort paid off.”
