Help the Sophomore Class Support the Maui Wildfires

This past summer, the island of Maui, suffered terrible wildfires that have severely damaged their environment. At the time of the fires, Woodland teachers, Paul and Meghan Geary were just an island away on Oahu.

They knew that they wanted to do something for the people of Maui.

“The people of Hawaii are unbelievably kind and generous,” Meghan Geary said. “We {knew} we wanted to be able to give something back to them.”

This was the perfect opportunity for the Sophomore Class Fundraiser. At the first home football game this Friday the theme will be hawaiian out.

“{At} all lunch waves that Friday leis will be two dollars a lei and all of the proceeds go to support the Maui United Way,” Megan Geary said.

So, this Friday, be sure to support the sophomore class and the Maui United Way at the first home football game.
