The Apple Company is getting more and more popular. Apps get downloaded everyday out of the apple Store.

Temple run is a new fad favorite for I-pad, I-phone and I-pod touch. According to applestore.com Temple Run is the top downloaded app that is free. It was also one of the fifty most downloaded apps in the month of December 2011.

In Temple Run the player starts off as a male explorer who is running away from dangerous monkeys. While he is running away from the fear inducing animals the player can collect coins and earn points. The key of the game is to collect as many coins as possible before the monkeys catch players or get hit by an obstacle.

Also, while running from the monkeys the character has to dodge various obstacles. Since the I-pod and I-pad have a touch screen it allows players to use their fingers to swipe up down and side to side. The character must jump over tree branches and holes in the platform. He must also duck under traps and fire.

To earn a high score the character must keep running and not hit any obstacles. The farther the character runs the higher the score gets.

As the player runs they collect coins that they can exchange for various prizes in the store. They can buy items that will benefit the player in the level such as a coin magnet that attracts coin to the character. Players can also buy a new character to play with in the games that may be faster or have more skills than the original guy that the game provides in the beginning.

Temple run is certainly the new extravaganza out there for apple fans.
