Captain Feature – Ethan Stepputtis

Senior Ethan Stepputtis is excited for the opportunity to lead the Woodland Hawks to a successful season.

Stepputtis, three year starter for the Hawks, is very honored to be selected captain by his coaches and teammates.

“Being a captain means that I get to represent our team in a positive manner and be a leader for everyone around me,” said Stepputtis.

Stepputtis started playing basketball at a very young age and learned what the values of hardwork and dedication can bring to you.

“I like how the game is very team oriented and I get to play with my friends as well.”

His favorite moment so far in his career was when his eighth grade travel team won their championship.

Although he loves to reminisce on the past, he is more focused on the future and is amped up for his senior season.

“I’m excited to bring back our team culture and try to make Woodland a better program after this year.”

With this being his last year playing basketball for the Hawks, Stepputtis hopes to leave a mark on his time here at Woodland of being a role model and positive influence for the people around him.
