Everyone walking down the hall at Woodland is doing their own unique thing during this holiday break. All of the athletes have practice most of the days during break, including the basketball teams, track teams, and swim teams. One senior, Sam Ambrocio, who is on the indoor track team, plans on running a lot.

“I’m going to be running circles around the track and going Christmas shopping and looking at lights,” said Ambrocio.

Many said they’re just staying home and hanging out with their friends and family. RJ Giampetruzzi is a huge football fan who also loves his family and spending time with them.

“I’m gonna spend time with my family and watch football with my dad,” said Giampetruzzi.

Another senior who loves hanging out with his family and has traditions with his family is Jimmy Schwarz.

“We go to my aunt’s house and my uncle always cooks, he’s a great cook,” says Schwarz.

Besides hanging out with friends and family, many had other plans in mind. Marco Santiago and Nate Messina are video game enthusiasts and love playing them.

“I’m gonna play Fortnite,” said Santiago.

“Over break, I plan on spending time with my family and I am definitely going to playsome video games with my friends,” said Messina.

Besides playing video games, Messina also has other plans for what he wants to do.

“If I get any Lego sets, I am going to have to complete it by the time we go back to school,” stated Messina.

All of the people at Woodland, not just the seniors, are all doing special, unique activities during the break. Happy holidays.
