Sugar, gingerbread, crinkle, and mouthwatering Hershey Kiss. These cookies can make your mouth water just by reading their names. In addition, these cookies are all extremely popular during the holiday season, but which one is the king of all cookies?

Fourth Place- Crinkle Cookies

The most popular type of crinkle cookie is chocolate. The chocolate melts in your mouth making it a delicious cookie especially when dipped in milk. Sophomore Emma DeGeorge, said that crinkle cookies are her favorite type of cookie. 

It’s a tradition for me and my Nonna to make crinkle cookies every year,” DeGeorge said. “When you dip them in milk, they melt in your mouth, and taste delicious.” 

Third Place- Gingerbread Cookies

The gingerbread cookies can be decorated, or even made into gingerbread men in a gingerbread house. Gingerbread cookies also have a good spice and flavor to them that makes people think of Christmas time. 

Second Place- Hershey Kiss Cookies

These are a true power cookie, with both peanut butter and hershey kisses, they are the ultimate flavorful treat for the holiday season. Sophomore, Clara Sweetland, that they are super fun to make, and they taste delicious. 

“I like making them every year, and my grandma used to make them, so they’re really good,” Sweetland said. 

First Place- Sugar Cookies

A staple at the Christmas table, and when topped with sprinkles, the cookie is truly amazing. The cookies are easy to make, and pair well with either coffee or milk. Junior, Gabriella Volpe, says that sugar cookies bring her back to her childhood. 

“The taste brings me back to my childhood because me, my mom, and my sister used to make sugar cookies together,” Vople said. “It really gives me that sense of nostalgia.” 

Whatever cookie you think is the best, they are all true staples during the holidays. Whether they are baked with family or enjoyed with friends, they are all amazing cookies to enjoy during the Christmas season.
