Scores, Stats, Standing

Scores,Stats,Standings. MaxPreps is a 4.8 out of 5 star online highschool sporting app and website. Made by Andy Beal in 2002, Maxpreps has taken off as one of the best high school sporting apps for scores, athletes and team rankings, and future or past schedules for any highschool team.

“I really like the website. When I use it, I see our schedule and other teams’ schedules,” said Woodland football player, Matthew Petta.

While only 7% of highschool athletes go to play college sports, MaxPreps can give opportunities for players and coaches to recruit or get recruited. MaxPreps shows players’ stats and also gives ratings based on the data they collect and analyze. MaxPreps takes schedules, players, and scores into account to make the proper ratings.

For the Woodland’s football team last season, they received a MaxPreps ranking of third in Connecticut for class S, and fourth in Connecticut overall.

MaxPreps receives the data from coaches input of their teams states by having access to the team admin. Maxpreps has also partnered with the sporting app Hudl, where recruits look at the highlight tapes or film of players. For example, Petta posts his game highlights after every game, so college scouts and coaches can see what he did.

MaxPreps is also a source of entertainment by being on Instagram and Tiktok posting interesting, funny, and intriguing videos for people to watch. It also post many states and ratings of teams across the country people are interested in. It is also 100% free to use or make a membership by getting profit for online sponsorships and advertisements.

MaxPreps is used for all sports and all schools. They feature every sport category from basketball and football to wheelchair sports and bowling, but mostly covering basketball and football.

As good as Maxpreps is, it is not always 100% accurate. On a few occasions, it can post the wrong thing including score or schedule, but eventually they fix everything and get it right. For example, during the Woodland vs. Wolcott football game, MaxPreps showed Wolcott winning 33-6. At the game, Woodland won. It took MaxPreps about two hours after the game to find the mistake and fix it.

Maxpreps is 4.8 out of 5 for a reason. The highschool sporting app is good and at the head of its game. Giving players an opportunity to get recruited and play at the college level.
