Girls Tennis Remains Undefeated

On Tuesday, April 13th, the Lady Hawks played and defeated St. Paul in girls tennis for the first time in school history.

For the singles players,  Woodland’s Stephanie Badale defeated Jordyn Rombola, 8-3. Emma Mazzone (SP) defeated Meg Wester, 8-5. Emily Appel defeated Lauren Tremaglio, 8-1. Allison Valentine defeated Brooke Dragon, 8-3.

Woodland doubles team, Sam Angeloszek-Jill Pagoni defeated Hillary Burns-Rachelle Klapheke, 8-0. Avery Gartman-Angela Vallillo (W)defeated Maxx Flippinger-Christina Mueller, 8-3. Nicole Nelson-Dayna Chucta (W) defeated Laura Johnson-Meghan Murphy, 8-5.

Up next for the Hawks is a home meet versus Torrington on April 15th at 3:30.
