On May 22nd, Woodland recognized students with 372 awards at the 2024 Achievement Awards. The awards ranged from perfect attendance for all four years of high school (Carter Davis ’24) to a $160,000 scholarship to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Blake Rankin ‘25). 150 students were recognized with an Academic Letter, which starts at the end of grade 10 when a student achieves 95 average or higher with no grades below a 70. Two students were recognized with the Community Service Award: Sandy Soliman (1166.5 hours) and Yasmeen Galal (1155). Other special recognitions were also given out, including the two seniors headed to the United States Marine Corp (Nicholas Sciarretto and Jake Sullivan) and Superintendent’s Awards.
