Class of 2024 Hosts Valentines Day Raffle

February 14th is here again. CVS is a collection of red and pink aisles, stuffed bears and chocolate. Dunkin has announced that their seasonal brownie battered donuts have returned. Flower shops all over the country are selling more roses than they can count. Valentine’s Day is in full swing.

Maybe you have a special someone to share this day with, maybe you don’t. Honestly, it doesn’t really matter. Valentine’s Day is a holiday to celebrate love (self-love, love between two people, love between a group of people) – you get it. The upsetting fact is that most people struggle to make plans for this holiday, as there is a lot of pressure to make sure that everything goes perfectly.

Maybe Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be so stressful. You can go on a date to the movies, make some festive baked goods, or simply relax in a coffee shop. Woodland’s class of 2024 is helping these plans become successful. From February eighth to February fourteenth, they have sold raffle baskets aimed at these activities. There are three baskets to be raffled off, each with their own theme.

Box #1: Box of microwave popcorn, a variety of candy, and a $25 gift card to the AMC movie theater.

Box #2: Red velvet and brownie cake mix, chocolate chips, pink and red pot holders, and a $15 target gift card.

Box #3: Dunkin coffee, cookies, two mugs, and a $25 Starbucks gift card.

The class of 2024 council is selling these tickets at every lunch wave. Tickets are $1 each, or $3 for five. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to celebrate this (love)ly holiday!
