ECE Environmental and Zoology explore Litchfield bird sanctuary

On Friday, October 14, Lisa Croce and Jill Blasi escorted Woodland’s own ECE Environmental and Zoology classes to study at the Livingston Ripley Waterfowl Conservancy in Litchfield. There the students were given a tour guide and explored the sanctuary. They were educated on the types of birds that reside there, ways to preserve and maintain the waterfowls, as well as a lesson regarding the different species of birds and how they came to be. The day ended with a tour around the beautiful waterfowls and lunch in the sanctuary.
