Hawks Take the Loss but Stand Together

Friday, November 26, marked the end of football season for the Woodland Hawks after losing an intense game against Seymour. The boys had a fantastic season, with the record of 7-3.

Friday also marked the last game as a Woodland Hawk for fourteen players on the team as they graduate. Seniors leaving include Ben Ploski, Paul Pronovost, Sean McAllen, John Searles, Jon Scirpo, Guy Massimo, Coby Vaccarelli, Nick Giammattei, Dave Bobbie, Semir Dervisi, Austin Torres, Collin Shea, Steven Garofalo, and Zach Ezzo.

“We never gave up and pushed ourselves beyond our own limitations,” explains McAllen, Senior Captain. “We are a family and the bond as brothers out on the field through blood and sweat will be what I miss the most.”

Their high school football careers may be over, but the boys will always remain Woodland Hawks.
