The stereotypical high school movie usually presents a group of bad-tempered popular girls who are feared by the rest of the school and torment the shy, nerdy population. Realistically, many schools are drastically different. Woodland has many truly caring people and interactions between these students are far from the stereotypical high school movies as shown through the recent social media page created on Twitter, WRHS Compliments.

WRHS Compliments, @Compliment1Wrhs, was created to share kind words about our fellow Woodland classmates. To compliment another student at Woodland, simply dm, also known as direct message, the twitter page what you want to be posted, and it will be put up anonymously.

Compliments such as , “Carly Erickson is one of the nicest people you will ever meet,” and, “Lauren Fowler is such a sunshiney person,” have been posted on the twitter page already.    

Take the opportunity to submit a compliment, brighten someone’s day and make our school an overall kinder environment.
