School fundraisers usually involve washing cars or sorting soda cans, not helping those in need. But Woodland’s Fine Arts Booster Club has found a way to raise funds and help others.This Friday, April 24, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturday, April 25, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the Woodland Regional High School Fine Arts Club will be having a clothing drive. Fine Arts students will be at the side door entrance to the Fine Arts wing to collect clothing. People with donations can drive their car up to the door and have it unloaded.  They are looking for wearable and usable men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, belts, and handbags. Linens, stuffed animals, and toys will also be accepted. They cannot accept books, CDs or DVDs. They are looking for all items to be tightly tied in plastic garbage bags. For each pound of clothing they collect, the Fine Arts Booster Club will be give money that they use to support the music, art and drama departments at Woodland.
