1. Why are you running for this position?

“I’m running to get a better feel for the way the school runs.”

2. What makes you qualified for this position?

“I ran last year and had a place as an officer and I’m mostly an A student.”

3. What are your goals if you win this election?

“My goals would be to organize and catalog more events for the class for senior memory take-aways.”

Samantha Lacy-Class Secretary Candidate 

1. Why are you running for this position?

“I think being actively involved in student government is important, mostly for people like me who like to have a say in what’s going around on us.” -Samantha Lacy

2. What makes you qualified for this position?

“I’ve always had a strong sense of leadership. I’ve been a part of organizations that required leaders previous to this and I work well not only with my fellow officers, but under pressure.” – Samantha Lacy

3. What are your goals if you win this election?

“My goals are to find effective ways to raise money so our class will have the financial support to have a great senior year and to find ways to make our class more involved.” -Samantha Lacy

4. What are other activities you are involved in?

“I am a teacher for a local CCD program. I’m in the process of taking over as a department head for the literary magazine and I work.” -Samantha Lacy

“I orchestrated and hosted a very successful talent show on my own when I was only thirteen.” -Samantha Lacy

Lindsay Gabianelli-Class Treasurer Candidate

“I’ve been in this position for the past year and I really fulfill my duties. I’m for the people.”

2. What makes you qualified for this position?
“I have participated in student council for the past two years and in middle school.”

3. What are your goals if you win this election?
“We got rid of the ring dance so we’re saving us money and my goal is to make the price of prom tickets lower for senior year.”

4. What other activities are you involved in?
“I am a member of the Woodland volleyball team, Woodland softball team and student council.”

“I’m a people person and I try my hardest to make others happy.”

“I want to make a difference in the class.”

2. What makes you qualified for this position?
“I was a class officer in middle school as well as last year and this year.”

3. What are your goals if you win this election?
“Basically I just want to improve the class and do more fundraising so we have the best benefits our senior year.”

“I am involved in softball, volleyball, and student council.”

“My favorite food is cheeseburgers.”

1. Why are you running for this position?
“I’m running for this position because I enjoy organizing events that benefit the class and are enjoyable for everyone.”
2. What makes you qualified for this position?
“I am qualified for this position because I have already served two terms as Class President, and am able to exercise leadership skills in a productive way.”
3. What are your goals if you win this election?
“If I win this election, I plan to create more fundraisers alongside the other officers, and raise lots of money so that my class can have really great activities in the next few years.”
4. What are other activities you’re involved in?
“I am involved in Woodland’s Student Government and am on the Cross Country, Boys’ Swim, and Girls’ Tennis teams.”

“I enjoy baking in my free time and love the Harry Potter series.”
