In the Senate
At the most recent student council meeting, many things for homecoming and spirit week were established. Four bills were made official last Monday, as Woodland’s annual “Clubbin at Woodland” has been officially established this year. The student council passed a bill that asked for $500 dollars in funds for the exploratory event. The event will provide students with information about clubs, while providing them with complimentary apple cider and donuts. This event is a great thing for new students, and it gives them an insight on what Woodland has to offer. Another bill, established the date and setting of Homecoming 2012. Homecoming 2012 will be on November 16th and tickets will be available from November 9th to November 15th. The tickets will be $15 dollars each. The final announcement from the student council is that spirit week this year will be seven days, and while the dress up and hallway decoration is not final it will be talked over with advisories, to make sure that everybody agrees on the themes.
