March Madness Prediction

March is upon us once again and most people know what that means; March Madness.

Most non sport fans think of it as just another sport and another reason for people to become stressed.

Well to us sport maniacs it’s time to put your knowledge of college basketball to the test and see who the top dog is.

Now March 14th, students and teachers all around the school are filling out brackets in hopes of winning cash prizes that only some can dream of.

Most people who enter brackets are generally from Connecticut so most assume that the majority of brackets would have the University of Connecticut and another team going for it in the National Championship.

Well sadly no, the brackets that I have seen, which is a ridiculous amount, had a mix of all teams from Kentucky to San Diego State.

I am not a college basketball analysis. But I know a thing or two about college basketball which leads me to my final four predictions.

Having a solid final four could make or break your bracket. Some tend to bring all the number 1 and 2 seeds to the final four which isn’t bad but every year there is an upset and that upset can ruin your bracket completely.

Now I am not saying do not have anyone of the the one or two seeds going to the final four but be very weary because most likely an upset will occur.

My final four predictions are: Duke(1) Syracuse(3) Notre Dame(2) and Florida(2).

The only team in my final four which I am extremely weary about is Notre Dame who last year was the big upset when they were defeated by Purdue

. Just to wrap things up here a few teams to watch are: George Mason, Kentucky, Texas and Connecticut’s one and only Uconn. As the week goes on ill continue to throw more updates on the website about teams to watch, big upsets, and other big news in the College basketball world.
