One of the newest gadgets about to reach a local AT&T store near you is the Blackberry Bold 9700. AT&T currently sells the Blackberry Bold 9000, a later model of the 9700.
Blackberry phones are notorious for featuring the trackball navigation. Unlike this other models, the 9700 will feature Trackpad navigation, which simulates using a laptop mouse pad. Instead of utilizing a ball, it is just a flat, sensitive surface. That seems to be the only major physical difference between the 9000 and 9700.
The 9700 is also Wi-Fi compatible, and has applications like Bluetooth, GPS, and multi-media player. A full battery will last you 6 hours of talk time.
There is no set date for when the Bold 9700 will be available in stores, but Blackberry assures us it will be soon.
