Photo Day at Woodland

By: Michelle Hultgren and Alyssa Stewart

Woodland Picture Day is taking place on the second floor in front of the Main Staircase. Students are lined up in a large line from the entrance  down to the doorway. Freshman, sophomores and juniors are waiting patiently all dressed up and ready for that one snap that will be in this year’s yearbook.

Woodlnd junior Yahmad Rountree said it takes him about 10 minutes to get ready on picture day; unfortunately he also stated that he usually dislikes how his pictures come out.

However, freshman Hayleigh Williams, who takes about an hour to get ready for picture day, has different reasons to enjoy photo day. Which is getting out of English class, but she is not fond of the photographers; she dislikes when the photographers yell out “turn your head.”

The process of getting your picture taken is such a hassle for about 72 seconds of posing for your “perfect” photo. Getting up early in the morning, waiting in a huge line, and then smiling as hard as you can just so you can run home and tell your mom, “I can’t believe I smiled that way, my hair looked so bad.”

Forunately for students whom are dissapointed in the turn out of their photos can attend the retake date which is later in October.
