[wowslider id=”11″] On Wednesday, November 6, Woodland defeated East Catholic in the second round of Class M Volleyball states. The game was close, but Woodland won 3-2. The team will now advance to the quarterfinals which will be played at home against Tolland on Friday, November 8, at 7pm.

The Woodland Volleyball team defeated the Seymour Wilcats on Tuesday, October 5th at Seymour. The game was highly touted as  the Wildcats are the defending Naugatuck Valley League Brass Divsion Champions, defeating Woodland to win the title last year. The Woodland Girls Volleyball team defeated Torrington on Friday, October 1st by a score of 3-0. Woodland won all three matches by scores of 25-18, 25-7, and 25-11, respectively.
