Fall/Winter Fashion Trends

Many people wish that summer could be year round, but sadly, in Connecticut, it will never be. There’s only one thing, however, that most girls get more excited for than beach days and crops tops: fall and winter fashion trends.

Many of last years trends are still popular but there always better trends to try.

An essential for the colder weather is that perfect leather jacket you can layer with pretty much anything. Bomber Jackets have been everywhere lately with different patterns on the back, or even your name on your jacket. Gigi Hadid, American fashion model, has been spotted rocking a black bomber jacket with her name embroidered on one side.

Within New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week, one of the biggest trends was chokers. Almost every model on the runway was wearing one around their neck. Yes, everyone loves a thin black velvet choker, but it’s all about making a statement with a bold choker this year.

Speaking of velvet… you really want keep an eye out for velvet everything. This trend is for sure a favorite because it looks good on anyone. From cute velvet booties to a simple strappy velvet dress. Models and even celebrities out and about have been rocking this trend. When buying anything velvet you really want to make sure you don’t spill anything on it because anything that spills, stains.

Another thing you need in your closet is silk. Kendall Jenner, American Fashion Model, has been seen wearing a silk robe with a t-shirt, silk dress over it, and some nude knee high boots (also another HUGE trend this year). You can pair silk with pretty much anything, and you can find it anywhere. If you want to go professional, anything silk will give you that nice polished look you’re going for.

So, style up your closet this season with these cute and trendy outfits this fall/winter and share them with us on twitter or Instagram. We’ll post it so everyone can get inspiration!
