2015 was a big year for fashion, both the good and the bad. As 2015 comes to a close, we will examine some of the most memorable fashion trends from this year.
One of the biggest trends of the year were bralettes, lacy cupless bras. The difference between them and regular bras is we often times try to hide the straps of regular bras in fear of them looking tacky. Bralettes, however, have intricate lace straps that you would want to show off and expose, which made them trend because of the different varieties that you can buy.
When you don’t feel like wearing your everyday t-shirt, switch up your look with a fitted long sleeve shirt with a lace up front ( so simple, yet so great). You can now see this bodysuit everywhere and on everyone for example the Kardashians, Hailey Baldwin, Vanessa Hudgens and of course the Jenners.
The next two trends aren’t pieces of clothing but they have been seen all around the world.
Flash tattoos are metallic temporary tattoos that are inspired by traveling and exploring different culture. This trend is one of my favorites simply because you can just have fun with them. A very big brand that was popular in selling these tattoos was Tattify.com. My predictions are that this trend will definitely move on to 2016 as well.
This last trend is, well, eyebrows. Yes, eyebrows- those little strips of hair on your face. 2015 was definitely a VERY big year for eyebrows. It has become a major fashion statement. Zendaya, Cara Delevingne, and Rihanna were definitely some eyebrow goals in 2015. I don’t know about you, but I think everyones looking forward to see who’s going to be eyebrow goals in 2016. So say hello to dark, full eyebrows and say goodbye thin, patchy brows.
