JD is a Woodland senior who is a captain of the swim team and a member of the National Honor Society. He will be attending the United States Air Force Academy in the fall to major in Aerospace Engineering

Why did you chose to enter Mr. Woodland? 

“Some student council members approached me and convinced me that I would be a good candidate.”

What qualities do you have that would make you a great Mr. Woodland? 

“I’m an Eagle Scout so that has made me a good leader and gave me a passion for community service. I’m outgoing, self motivated and I have a lot of school spirit.”

What would winning the title of Mr. Woodland mean to you? 

“The title would mean a lot to me because it would confirm that I have a lot of school spirit and that I am a good representation of the Woodland community. The restaurant gift card will be a great prize to win, free food is always nice.”

What part of the competition are you most excited for? 

“I’m really excited for the opening number. We’ve been practicing a lot and its going to be pretty funny.”
