Brian Guerrera’s Senior Project

Having fun and raising money for a good cause is always a great opportunity. Brian Guerrera’s senior project, a soccer game between seniors and alumni, is exactly that. The money raised from this activity will benefit Jack Walsh, a Woodland junior, who is battling cancer.

“Besides raising money for Jack, I wanted to do something soccer-related,” said Guerra, “I figured why not play soccer with the people who taught me everything and my friends one last time.”

Admission is two dollars, however, Guerrera is hoping to raise at least $100. Last season’s varsity soccer team and at least 11 alumni members will go head-to-head in this exciting event.

Guerrera has been playing soccer for 13 years, and to be able to play his favorite sport as a senior project with experienced alumni will be something to look forward to.

Due to weather, the date of the game is still to be determined, stay tuned with @hawk_headlines  on Twitter to find out the date.
