Holiday Community Service Opportunities at Your Reach

Holiday season is here and if you’re in need of community service hours, listen to this announcement. Community Service opportunities are everywhere.
Algonquin and Community elementary school PTO will be holding a holiday fair December 12, 2014 from 5:30-7:45. Within this fair the students will participate in the festive activities. This includes events such as cupcake/cookie decorating, face painting, tattoo sticking, and even an exclusive musical cake walk game.
Thanks to these festive activities, not only the children, but you too, will be in the holiday spirit.

The Woodland Regional Student Council is also sponsoring two community service events as part of their Winter Service Week. On Tuesday December 8th, the student body is invited to make holiday cards for children in the hospital. On Thursday December 10th, there will be a Blankets for Babies event. Students will make no-sew blankets to be donated to a local hospital. These events provide two fun and easy ways for students to help the community.

These community service opportunities are recommended for anyone who loves working with kids or loves to be put in the magical Christmas spirit. For any more information that has not been given please stop in guidance office and request the answers to your questions.
