Many students have passed through Woodland with a knack for art, but not many people are aware of the careers in that field.
On Thursday, February 27th in the Auditorium, Woodland Alumni will visit Woodland Regional High School. Parents, students, and teachers are invited to attend this event. The Woodland Alumni have careers in various artistic fields such as web design and photography.
“The goal is to dispel the myth that there are no jobs in this field,” said Chris Misuraca, Fine Arts teacher at Woodland.
The Alumni will use their job expertise to educate those who attend. For those who have artistic talent but are not aware of career options, the Alumni will tell them. The alumni strive to send these students in the right direction along with informing parents and teachers of the numerous possibilities.
