Okemo Ski Trip

The ski club at Woodland is planning another day trip, and this time everyone is invited.

While the previous trips have been offered only to students involved in the ski club, the rules have been changed for this specific outing. Parents, friends, and students alike are invited to enjoy a day on the slopes. If payment is made, then participants can enjoy a day of winter fun at Okemo Mountain Resort.

Okemo, a ski resort located in Ludlow, Vermont, offers trails for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels among the 120 slopes available on the mountain. Also, with its highest peak being at 2,200 feet, Okemo has the highest vertical drop in Southern Vermont.

Vermont has proven to be a popular ski area for the club throughout the years.

The ski trip, scheduled for March 1, 2014, will hopefully have a large turnout. The fee for the entire trip, transportation included, is only $79. This price is significantly lower than the prices of the previous trips that the club has taken this year. The club also hopes that the lower price will encourage students to sign up.

In order to enjoy these trails and slopes, anyone interested in the trip must give Misuraca their $79 check by February 19, 2014.
