Ski Trip to Bromley

For the past three years, the students in the ski club at Woodland have been waiting for their chance to enjoy a day on the slopes of Vermont. This year, the wait is over.

In recent years, the club was not able to make the trip due to the plummeting economy. However, since this problem has improved, the ski club has been able to plan a trip to Bromley Ski Resort for this year.

According to their website, Bromley is a family style ski area in Peru, Vermont. The mountain has 46 classic New England trails for skiers and snowboarders of every skill level. 32% of the trails are for beginners, 37% are for intermediate skiers, and 31% are for experts. The resort is 300 acres in total, with 178 of these acres skiable terrain. As the only ski area in New England with a southern exposure, the guests enjoy the sun.

If any ski members would like to enjoy a day in the snow, they are invited to go on the trip. This discounted price for a single skier is $110 and includes transportation and the lift ticket.

The tentative date for Bromley is January 25, 2014. Chris Misuraca, ski club advisor, put the trip on hold because of difficulties with the bus company. However, if any students have their money, Misuraca will keep their checks safe until the trip has a set date.

All members of the ski club are encouraged to sign up for the ski trip to Bromley.
