Students help to make college selection process even simpler

Finally, the class of 2013 has reached the top of the food chain—the most powerful in all of high school—the kings and queens of their courtship. But, with only one quick year at the top, the seniors will once again be seated at the bottom of the food chain, taking commands from the upper-class men, working yet again to be at the top.

But before the students of Woodland Regional High School are seated at either the bottom or top of the world, the college selection process must begin.

After taking the extensive SAT and ACT tests and working to always be the better student, it is time to find the college of each and every student’s dreams. And with over 4,000 colleges and universities in just the United States alone, touring every campus becomes quite the obstacle especially with whining siblings and parents who choose to reminisce and embarrass rather than to help eliminate colleges.

Some may tour the East Coast, some the West, some the South, and some the North. One student may not be able to travel around the college country in just the short two months of summer, but together the class of 2013 can.

Although college and university websites offer virtual tours and information on life on campus, these websites tend to be a little biased. And no one is  a little more than brutally honest than your classmates.

Through wrhsonline.net, Woodland’s Class of 2013 will be able to share their experiences and opinions on colleges and universities across America. Rather than spending countless hours reading reviews, researching the average scores for the SAT’s, and wondering if the school is worth the eighty dollars to apply, all of these questions can be answered by one of your classmates who had visited the campus. And like a book recommendation, each student will recommend the visited college to five students—because no one knows you better than your classmates of more than eight years.

With a recommendation and overview of hundreds of college campuses, the selection of the perfect dream school has been made even simpler.
