Chernobyl Diaries review

By Jessica Crosby

The newest horror movie has dropped into theaters.  Chernobyl Diaries was full of surprises, mysteries and of course, horrifying scenes.

In this film, a group of young adults take a trip across Europe. Chris, (Jesse McCartney) was planning on proposing to his girlfriend Natalie (Olivia Taylor Dudley) in Moscow. Amanda (Devin Kelley) was a friend of Natalie’s and Paul (Jonathan Sadowski) is Chris’s older brother.

Before they left for Moscow, Paul suggested that they take an extreme tour through an abandoned city, Pripyat. The city was abandoned twenty years before due to nuclear explosions.

The tourists hire an extreme tour guide who brings them to the abandoned city of Pripyat. This city was home of the workers of Chernobyl, which is where the nuclear disaster took place. It was said that city was evacuated and abandoned. Unfortunately for the young tourists, they find they are not alone in the city. Mutant, zombie-like dogs and humans rampage the city and attempt to hunt them down.

With the mysteries, suspense, and horror, Chernobyl diaries is a must see.
