Moore First Female To Sign With Jordan

Good things keep coming Maya Moore’s way as she just became the first woman to sign with Jordan.

After years of hard work in high school and college at the University of Connecticut, it is showing to pay off.

If Moore is not breaking records, she is making history as she was signed by Michael Jordan.

She realizes what a feat this is and told Long Island Press that as she was growing up she idolized Jordan. She strived to be like him on and off the court.

Moore joins others like NBA Stars Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Ray Allen, and MLB Star Derek Jeter.

As of right now, the brand does not have any shoes made for women but instead men’s basketball shoes with a plethora of different colors. As it is not a woman infused brand, it could all change now that Moore has joined the team.

She has changed the way many people look at the sport of basketball which has evolved from a sport popular for the NBA. Now, the WNBA is gaining more support as is the sport of womens’ basketball as a whole.
