Hillhouse Winter Relays Results

The Woodland track team recently competed in the Hillhouse Winter Relays.

Senior Sean Melville placed 13th for Woodland in the Boys’ pole vault.

Senior Tyler Slapikas placed 15th for Boys’ shot put followed by senior Dillon Quadrato who came in 40th.

For the Boys’ long jump, senior Daniel Park placed high, in 7th. Followed shortly after him was senior Tyler Slapikas who came in 17th.
Junior Mike Krakowski also placed (37th) for Woodland.

For the Girls’ shuttle hurdle, the duo of senior Alyssa Marti and junior Raven Palmiere placed first with the time of 19.54.

On the Boys’ side for the shuttle hurdle, Junior Mike Krakowski and Senior Sean Melville placed 10th with a time of 19.11.

Seniors Sarah Melville and Katelyn Trauger, along with sophomore Melissa Kiley and freshman Miranda Moffat came in 7th for the Girls’ 4×800 relay with a time of 11:04.68.

For the Boys’ 4×800 relay, senior A.J. Pavlowski, juniors Kyle Cranney and Jon Fitzpatrick, and sophomore Adam Baz placed 11th with a time of 9:33.08.

Coming in 7th place for the Girls’ 1600-meter sprint medley was freshmen Stephanie Dumond and Kiernan Debiase, and seniors Brittany Albright and Brittany Battis. (4:44.01)

The boys’ for Woodland did a perfect job, coming in 1st for the Boys’ 1600-meter sprint medley with seniors Daniel Park, Chris Savvidou, Brandon Fowler and Tyler Murphy placing with a time of 1:48.05.

Girls’ 4×200 relay: juniors Arica Watford and Marissa Mills, along with freshmen Stephanie Dumond and Kiernan Debiase rounded out in 11th place.

Boys’ 4×200 Relay- 22nd place: Woodland’s senior John Plaskon along with juniors Craig Genz and Chris Williams and sophomore Alex Bloomingdale.

Boys’ distance medley: Woodland placed ninth and was led by senior A.J. Pavlowski, junior Jon Fitzpatrick and sophomores Adam Baz and Marc Beaulieu.

Girls’ 4×400 relay: seniors Sarah Melville, Katelyn Trauger, and Brittany Battis along with sophomore Melissa Kiley placed 12th in the Girls’ relay.

Boys 4×400 relay: Coming in just after Staples, Woodland placed second led by seniors Chris Savvidou, Tyler Murphy, and Brandon Fowler, along with junior Kyle Cranney.
