Halloween at Woodland

Halloween 2009 was in full gear at Woodland as the seniors entered the school dressed in their costumes. This year’s senior class brought some of the funniest and most creative ideas yet.

As a senior privilege, the right to dress up is looked forward to all year. Dani Fowler, Woodland senior, said, “Being able to dress up for Halloween is a really cool thing to do for our last year at Woodland and it’s funny to see what every dresses up as. My favorite part was watching James Bedard run around the school arresting Michael Jackson (Ben Kozera).”

During advisory the seniors went into the auditorium and were judged on their costumes in five categories: best duo, best group, funniest, most creative, most realistic and scariest.

Winners:
Best Group – Lindsay Wirsing, Lindsay Walsh, Taylor Byrne as the three blind mice
Best Duo – David VanDelft and Eric Brandien as Hannah Montana and Miley Cirus
Most Creative – Doug Aldrich as Quailman
Funniest – James Bedard as Lt. Dangle from Reno 911
Scariest –  Pete Mulholland as Beetle Juice
Most Realistic – Ben Kozera as Michael Jackson
