The Woodland Hawks Volleyball team defeated the Berlin Redcoats in their first game of states on November 10th.

The Hawks won all three games with a score of 21-25 in the first game, 20-25 in the second game, and 21-25 in the third game.

Senior Stephanie Badale led the Hawks with 11 kills. Seniors Kaiti Lembo, Erika Barnett and Desiree Duby contributed with five, four, and three kills respectively.

Junior Jess Patrizi contributed to the Hawk’s win with eight aces and 18 assists. Seniors Kate Frenette, Duby, and Lembo all contributed with two aces apiece.

Duby and Frenette helped the Hawks with nine and eight digs respectively.
