Woodland and Wolcottt Set to Square Off

The Hawks will be facing Wolcott this Friday to open up their home schedule. The game will be a “blackout” in which every fan on the Woodland side will wear their black fan gear.

Woodland is coming off of a huge 44-0 victory against the Eagles of Kennedy in which their offense was showing great promise. On the other side of the ball the Hawks defense looked outstanding as they did not allow Kennedy to get a single first down.

Wolcott travels to the Woods a week after defeating Wilby by the score of 38-20. Wolcott and Woodland are both 2-0 and they are looking to remain unbeaten.

Woodland’s Key Players: Steven Petracca, he’s a vocal leader for this offense and has completed over 50% of his passes this season. Jack Debiase: He is Woodland’s rushing leader and has racked up 330 yards on the ground.

Wolcott’s Key Players: Dominic Gambino, the quarterback who moves this offense with great precision. Gregg Jackson, running back and one of Wolcott’s many speed threats.
