Woodland Art Club

The first meeting of this school year for the Woodland art club was held on September 22 from 2:15-3:15 in room 125.

These art meetings  are primarily to help prepare for the District Wide Art Show. The students work together, or individually to create a piece of art that will be showcased at the Art Show. Last year the art club did the wall of the Prospect Grange on Center Street.

“The program is whatever the students make of it,” states Kristen Lengyel, Woodland Ap Art, Photo 1 and 2, and Art Peer Tutors teacher.

Lengyel and the art club members are ready and motivated to get alot done this year.

The art club meets once a month and is always interested in welcoming new members.  If you are interested in joining contact klengyel@region16ct.org for more information or attend the October meeting.
